IF Big Papi was unable to play for the rest of the season, Boston would be stupid NOT to sign Bonds. Is there going to be a bigger bat available at the trade deadline? If so, not many. Plus, how many prospects would we have to give up to GET that bat? If Bonds wants a Championship as bad as he lets on, he probably would be a good boy.

I was watching ESPN this morning and they were talking about Bonds going to Arizona as a possibility and that he still sees himself as a "baseball player" and not a DH.

If Bonds is in the NL he could play 2 to 3 games a week....His knees could not handle the everyday strain of playing LF. He would be worth the league minimum, but no more than that.

Moises Alou left last nights minor league rehab game with a hamstring cramp. I love watching this guy when he is healthy but when will that ever happen again? Omar Minaya says the Mets are not in the market for Barry Bonds but at this point maybe he should re-consider. Church is out Alou is out. Tatis and Chavez can only play this well for so long...
