Topps Extends Deadline On Wrapper Redemption Programs

Topps announces it has extended the wrapper redemption program deadline for both 2010 Topps Chrome Baseball and 2010 Bowman Chrome Baseball until July 31st, 2011.

Last week they were suppose to start shipping in 2 weeks. So hopefully next week. Of coarse RHR were supposely already shipping and I have seen none of mine.

Yeah, Topps really screwed the pooch this year. No Finest, RHR, or Chrome wrappers yet.

Does anyone know where the OFFICIAL Topps announcement is? Because I called customer service today about my 15 topps chrome lots that I sent in 2 months ago the customer service rep says you havent received them yet because the promotion has ended a while ago

Thanks bud - I appreciate it..

Im sick and tired of the same woman answering the customer service line and being 100% nasty about things. She LOVES to push people away. She said " Theres nothing on our twitter stating the wrapper redemption has been extended ". Then i simply asked what is the address for the chrome redemptions . She gave me the PO Box for Topps Series 1 redemptions.. I can't wait until tommorow when i call them up and get in touch with mike lazzaro ( head of customer relations - has helped me redeem 07 expired redemptions before).. I'm going to explain how she treats topps customers and hopefully we'll get a new sales rep to talk to that will actually be helpful.

But thanks again - I really appreciate it!

Hold on to them - they tend to use "LAST MINUTE" redemptions to increase sales - Doesnt hurt to throw em all in a box and wait and see !

No they aren't planning on doing the program with Topps Series 2. I'm not aware that they are but I guess you can keep them if you still want to take up space. I would thought have thought that after 3 weeks since release they would have said something.

I sent two cases of 2010 Topps Chrome wrappers to Topps mid-week last week. To my surprise, UPS delivered a big package today with the Bowman redemption packs.

24 packs of base cards with no autos... which makes for a total of 48 packs I've opened with nothing but junk. Those of you thinking about redeeming these are probably better off selling if you can get $60-70/case for the wrappers.
