Default Paypal Virtual Terminal

Has anyone used this before at shows. I am thinking about using it to help open the market to more buyers at card shows who want to pay with credit cards. It seems like no one comes to shows with more than $50 and then has to run to the ATM and never returns. I was hoping this would help. Any comments are appreciated.

Seems to be a good idea, saves the hassle of finding an ATM and getting charged 3 bucks to take money out. I've persoanlly never gone to a card show and I usually do not carry cash on me, so I would like to see something like this if I was browsing around instead of hitting up an ATM.

It seems like a good idea, I hate to have a deal ruined because a vendor at a show doesn't take cards.

My employer pays me with direct deposit and I just dont carry much cash.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Still not as good as just a CC machine since not everyone uses PP but I agree there are enough people who are much more comfortable carrying around a debit card or something than a wad of cash.

this is a great option if you dont want to set up a full on merchant account. now depending on how much business you do at shows and how many you do a month you might be better off setting one up than going that route.

No way is getting a merchant account better. There are monthly fees, contracts and all kinds of crap a little independent guy does not need.

A guy doing shows doesn't have the guise of a corporation though. If you have a corporation you have limited liability. So that way, a guy doing card shows has more to lose than a guy doing business as a corporation. Even though he/she may be making more money.
