Big hit- UD legendary dual cut 1/1

As I said before I never buy UD stuff but I got a nice bonus at work so...

One box of SP Legendary Cuts and I hit the 1/1 dual autograph of Bill Dickey and Ernie Lombardi.16 cards in the dual autograph set all 1 of 1!!!

Card goes up on Ebay tonight but I'll also take it to the show this weekend.

PS- I'm still not going to buy any UD stuff

Well, the Ernie Lombardi cut signatures /38 sell for around $250 and the Bill Dickey cut signatures sell in the $90 - $150 range, so seeing this card is a 1/1 and should be of more interest to vintage collectors I'd say $500 - $600 would be a reasonable estimate. But it's hard to say, I guess you'd have to find the right buyer who'd want that combination of players on a card. And serial numbering doesn't seem to have the market power it once did. But still a really nice ard, and I'd look to at least get $500. Good luck whatever you decide to do!

Jim, I honestly don't think you'd get any crap from anybody here for posting your auction link. This isn't the beckett board, we're all mature adults here, and actually appreciate it when people post their auction links as we do a lot of buying and selling with one another. Again, awesome pull, and very nice looking card. I hope you do extremely well with it.

Traz, thanks and I kind of knew that but at the same time I didn't want to have a Beckett type issue. The card is already over $50 and at first I thought it might be just a $200 plus card but now I'm wondering how high it might go. I haven't seen any other dual autographs listed and there was only 16 made so...

I appreciate the feedback I've got here and I'm not going to put a price on the card this weekend at my show. I know it will be for cash and someone will have to knock me over with an offer. I'll report back during the auction, after the auction and or if I sell it off line.

Just a quick update- I checked last night and the card has been at $101 for the past day. Not sure where this will end. A part of me thinks only $200 or so because the cut on the Dickey sucks so much but the other part of me thinks $500 or more because it is a 1/1 of a prime product and there is only 16 1/1 cards in the auto set.

First off, very nice card. While I think the cut auto of Dickey does not help the card, I think it will gain steam the closer to auction end it gets. I'd be surprised if it goes for under $200.

Auction ended last night at $271. I thought it would go for more but I think the poor cut of the Dickey autograph hurt the card. I don't understand how some ding-dong at Upper Deck could cut the sig like some 2nd grader.

The card has already been paid for and I shipped it today.

What a great deal I dont know how they got your item but I was looking and you can get 2 1/1s for 250. Where do I sign up?!?! Plus the 1 year international warranty is great too!!
