R.A. Dickey PC (Photo Heavy)

Here is my R.A. Dickey PC.. It's starting to get harder to find these older rare cards. I can't find any of the 2005 plates anywhere haha. Hope you like it. Here is my web page featuring have and want lists!!: http://dickeyscollection.webs.com/

As far as why I chose to collect Dickey. Well it's kind of silly, but when I was eleven years old (when he was drafted) I thought it was the coolest thing that only one Major league baseball player had the same last name as me. That's really how it started. He was a pitcher and so was I... I followed him over the years and watched him go up and down between the majors and minors.. I remember watching the game on TV where he was transitioning over to the knuckleball and he gave up 6 homers in one inning haha. Felt bad for him and at the same time was wondering why the hell he was left in the game... Is started for the Mets in 2009 and when I found out we signed him in 2010 I was very excited! That's the story in a nutshell really..

That is an unbelievable collection of a great pitcher. How long did it take to get all that?

On and off over the years. Since his most recent success, a bunch of his stuff has been popping up more frequently. I finally, FINALLY found someone with some 2005 Blacks. I should be getting them today or tomorrow.. Can't wait. And it looks like I am going to make another trade for one more of the 2005 blacks and another 2011 black.

Just doin a little update.. I've added some new Gypsy Queen to the collection. I've managed to get two more 1/1s. One yellow mini plate and one base yellow plate from the gypsy queen set. As well as a leather mini (/10) and I also got another 2005 Xfractor (/25). Im hoping that I can get the Gypsy Queen blank back 1/1 that just popped up on the bay .. I also did manage to get another 2005 Black (makes 3 now) and another 2011 Black (6 now). I haven't taken any pics yet of the new stuff and some of it isnt here yet anyway lol
