Default Leaf Executive Cuts Collection

Just got this back from Leaf. I saw they were doing this and knew I had to grab a Yogi version for my PC.

Concept:

http://www.leaftradingcards.com/executive_cuts.php

Send in a certified (PSA or JSA) autograph and get it turned into a Leaf Executive Cut card. If you are the first to send in a autograph of a particular player, you automatically get upgraded to a 1 of 1 masterpiece version.

If your autograph is not certified by JSA or PSA, you must pay to have it authenticated by either company.

Thoughts?

I paid a total of $60 for this. The autograph I had was a 8x10 authenticated by JSA and I picked it up on eBay pretty cheap (under $15) because it was stained, so it was a great candidate (IMO) to get turned into a cut

Cost per cut = $39.95 + shipping and insurance

I like it, and it's great you got the "1/1" designation!

Yeah the card looks great in person

I was a bit worried I would get beat out by someone and end up with the regular version, I'm very glad I got the Executive Masterpiece edition

I contemplated sending in a few other HOF pieces I own to up the resale value of them (esp if they get the 1/1 designations) but decided against it.

That would suck if I sent in a TTM auto for a card and it was classified as fake

Items for submission must be (a) no more than 3” in length, (b) no more than 1.875” (1 7/8 ) in width and no more than 0.125” (1/8) in depth
As long as it fits within these parameters ^^

Look at the sales sheet here for more details:

I am going to preemptively answer this question with a big ol' 'No' -- however, I'll ask anyhow.

Do you know if they publish who already has a 1/1 this year?

They are supposed to have a population report up soon. It even says on the back of my card that it can be found in the population report at leaftradingcards.com. However, I don't see one up yet.

I think the program has only been out for a month now, I sent mine in a couple days after it was announced. I would assume that most obscure names are still available, but I guess you would never know until you sent in/they put up a population report.

If you were really interested in finding out, I'd just email Brian Gray or their CS rep and straight up ask them. Tell them they said they would have a population report together and you don't see one, but you'd like to know if "insert player name" has any populated cuts. They were quite responsive to my emails, so I would expect a quick response!

Does the back of that card say "You have received a 201 Leaf..."?

No they did that for me, I just put instructions on the order form "Leave Best wishes, cut out personalized name (wasn't my name)"

There are a couple autos that I would love to get done up, but would really prefer that they were the 1 of 1.

Of course, I'd have to get my hands on a PSA/JSA auto of the person(s) in question.
