Mystery Cut received - help appreciated

Hello.

Today I received a 1/1 Betty Grable auto from 08 Legendary Cuts. I don't know where to start on placing a value on it. Maybe $499 B/O???

499 might be a hare high...but probably worth the 1st round of tries. Highest sold was for 140 and that was a signed 8x10 auto, but would think 250ish may be realistic.

Just traded it away for $75 cash as well as an 08 SPx octo autograph of Mendenhall, McFadden, Stewart, Johnson, blah blah blah and 4 other rookie running backs numbered to 8.

Fair deal?

This is non of my business so you don't have to answer this but just out of curiousity did someone offer you a trade outside of ebay. I have had a bunch of trade offers on my Walter Hagen auto. I was just too afraid to pull the trigger due to not knowing the traders.

To answer your question. I think it is a good trade if your happy with it.

Some grumpy old WWII veteran offered me this trade through ebay. He gained my trust based off a few emails and a few phone calls. We agreed on overnighting the cards, him paying for it.

Highest offer was $225 for the Grable. I figure this octo auto will sell more than $150, so I did this trade on a business standpoint. Pulled the auction off ebay so I don't have to pay the fees.

I hope you aren't part of the ebay police, lol.

Good luck with the Hogan. Right now it's at $300 that's pretty good!

Just kidding. I am surprised your highest offer was only for $225. I was hoping to get $500 out of my card but it didn't happen so I relisted for $299.99. I was hoping to get enough money to get me a Joe Dimaggio auto. Someone from ebay offered me a dimaggio for my card plus cash but I just couldn't do it. I somewhat regret it but I am just going to use the funds from this sale to put towards a Dimaggio auto. Anyway, thanks for your input. I think you got a nice card.
