Gypsy Queen Missing Autographs


The much anticipated 2011 Topps Gypsy Queen Baseball officially streets today (4/27) and overall the product looks great, but it has come to our attention that not all hobby boxes include the originally solicited 2 Autograph & 2 Relic guarantee (some contain 3 Relics & 1 Autograph). Any customer missing an autograph from their box will be taken care of. Please mail in the box’s UPC code to Topps to receive a Gypsy Queen replacement autograph card.

I opened 3 boxes and saw 3 others opened

so 6 total..

only 1 box had 4 hits...

the other 5 boxes had 3 hits...

Nice work topps..

How can you screw that up over and over and over

You've been in business how long now, Topps? I guess it takes time for a new company like them to figure out how to run things properly.

They could have said tough #@#@#@#@, we advertised two autos and two relics but we are only giving you 1 auto now. At least they are willing to do something about it. People were complaining yesterday that the boxes had less than advertised and now people will complain they have to send the UPC in. Everything would be so much better if UD still had a MLB license and 90% of their products tanked *sarcasm*

This may be the case, but how many times has Topps done this within the past year? Almost every other product that comes out, Topps makes some sort of announcement about a "mistake" they made & how they're going to "make it right" with collectors. It's getting old & a company like Topps should be held to higher standards, having been in this business for so long.

Not to mention how horrible their CS is on a regular basis. Other companies will honor expired redemptions, but not a company who's been around for 60 years. Enough of this, "At least they're willing to..." BS! They're plain lazy & don't give a flying #@$% about consumers.

Shill boxes and advertising.
ebay made topps correct there mistake or ebay would have had paypal lock topps account for 90 days...

EBAY is law.

If you get tired of what has happened in the past year with Topps, don't buy Topps products. Pretty simple. I'll take having to send in some wrappers for making money on the majority of what they put out.

yeah i'm staying far away from this product knowing that you will have to mail in to get your as advertised second auto which will probably be a scrub. anyone guessing that the price will drop on Gypsy soon?

Price on this isn't going to drop much. Hobby was not produced in near the qty people were figuring. Production cut was at least 20% based on original non-hit odds and the ratios they are falling now. If you were buying this product for the hits from the very start, you were buying for the wrong reason. This is similar to A&G. Rare, bigger hits sell well but this is a set and mini card product.
