Default Matsuzaka error card-- anybody have this experience?

OK, I hit a Matsuzaka refractor in 09 BDP recently, along with a few of his chrome cards. The refractor is clearly a refractor, as the scan shows it refracts light (very obvious in person, even more than the scan). Chrome cards never refract the light as in the scan. Only problem is, there is no stamp on the back to say it's a refractor! That is indeed an error. Does anyone else have this experience with 09 BDP refractors? If so, please let me know about it. Thanks.

Will post this 1/1 error for $15,000 on ebay soon -- wink wink.

I think most are like that, I have an Ichiro WBC that doesn't have refractor on the back. It's clearly one though.

I believe (and somebody else can confirm this) that there are several "refractors" that are such but are not labeled as "refactors".

I think both of my Yu Darvish Refractors are not labeled "Refractor", so your card is about as special as every 2010 Bowman Platinum Refractor AUTO/Jersey #/740 that is labeled "Multi Color Patch" on the back.

haha

actually those are multi-colored if scanned in 3-D...i found out

i guess just the WBC don't say "refractor" on them, cuz the other 09BDP refs do

I had a few of those, except the other way around. Stamped refractor but not printed on refractor stock.

Just more errors from Topps, which seems to happen way too often. I had probably 6-10 cards from 2010 Bowman Chrome that were labled refractors but definetly were not refractors!! I have come to expect such sloppy production control from Topps!!
