You're right........another useless trade......not to mention all the money the blew on CC. They would have been better off going after Peavey, someone the AL has not seen as much. Besides, the Red Sox beat CC in his last play-off start when they won the World Series in 2007. Ultimately who do the Yankees want to beat......the Red Sox.

The Steinbrenner kids are nothing more than spoiled brats waisting their parents money.....

This trade has been available for awhile- For me it was the only reason that the Brewers resigned Cameron at that rediculous salary--

Take Him Yankees- Are you interested in any other Brewers this Off-season?

Not a useless trade at all. Cameron and CC are good friends so if this helps keep the highest paid pitcher in the game happy then you do it. Not like they lost much in Melky.

True but all the reports were that the Yankees were looking to acquire Rick Ankiel not Mike Cameron. Cameron needs to stay clean to stay on the field...

And it looks like they might take Bill Hall as well. I'd be thrilled if they took those 2 guys off our team. Cameron is a strikeout machine and Hall makes way too much $ for someone who isn't an everyday player.

I remember Bill Hall hitting a walk off HR against the Mets on Mothers day with one of those pink bats against Chad Bradford in the 10th inning.

2006 36 Hrs
2007 14 Hrs
2008 15 Hrs

Guess his HGH ran out somewhere after 06'

The only reason I like this deal is that we got rid of Melky.. he needed to go! Now I can't say that Mike Cameron is the guy that comes to mind but nonetheless, we're stuck with him now for at least a year which isn't bad.
