The market is implying that he's going to be not just a HOFer, but one of the best of all time.
How much would a Pujols superfractor go for? $50,000? What about Griffey...$75,000? Because if we're implying that $12,500-$25,000 (I know the card store owner whose store saw the Harper red 1/1 pulled this week, and it's being listed at $25k) is the "right" price for a guy without a single AA at-bat, we better be willing to pay multiples of that for players who are (already) all-time greats.
Again, I like the kid, and it's fun to see people driving to 15 Wal Marts to find some retail packs for a chance at a rookie of him, but cmon guys.
