2007 Donruss Elite?
What do you guys think about this one. I just picked up a (20) box case @ $72 a box. Is this going to be one of those cases we should try to get as many as we can? It looks like a AWESOME product. What do you guys think?

I think it will do great. I think people are getting excited about a Donruss baseball product. Plus baseball card collecting is all about the prospects now anyway. It is really to Donruss's advantage that they will not be able to issue third and fourth year rookie cards with the stupid logo.

i think it's definitely one to pick up and keep sealed for a few years.

i think that has the tony soprano auto card. i busted a case awhile ago hoping to get it. never did

too bad it hasn't even been printed yet, let alone released. |
I like the look of it but am not a big fan of mixing 2007 Baseball draft Picks Auto's and Rookies with College FB coaches autos and other sports and entertainment memorbilia but thats what I was told they needed to do to get the license back
|
But what about it being an unlicensed product? I don't know what resale value there will be in players in high school and college uniforms. I just wish Donruss would get its license back so everyone could either cut back or stop buying upper deck.

I think it will be a fun (key on the word fun) break but it will not make you money. For what you get the price point is a little high. It's not going to appeal to set builders, it has sticker autos, and it is unlicensed. I think the gimmick cards they are putting in their are nice but take away from it being a prospectors product. For me Tristart Prospects is going to be a way better break with much, much more value. Just my two pennies.
