They do the Topps TV breaks down in Orlando I believe. Where is the seller? Although possible the person who obtained them is using someone else to sell them.

Just wondering, since you get one hit and the rest base (and the mystery pack), is Sterling really all it's cracked up to be? Or do people usually swap boxes for players they want?
I mean, sure something like Triple Threads was very spotty but you get cards of very similiar design but there were a ton with a few hof guys on a single card. I'm not trying to be a dick...I've only been back into all of this since spring so this will be my first experience going through this product going live. Is it just super high end because Topps and the price point say so? I know this year's cl is really great, so is the draw the perception that you have a legit shot of hitting one of the really big guys? |

ty. Lots of time to do stuff like look up peoples addy's when your an insomniac....
mightbe - I wouldn't say that you have a legit shot at hitting one of the big boys. I would think that you might get one of the "top" players in every 2 or 3 cases. I haven't heard anything about them being guaranteed like last year. Prime Cuts is cheaper and could potentially have some very high $$ cards in it. But it hasn't been produced since 05 (I think), so I don't have anything to compare it to like with 07 Sterling.

wow ..sucks for whoever opened those boxes of sterling .....they are instantly out 3/4the of their money....
theres only 5-6 boxes out of all the "amzinggggg" names that will probably be worth their weight..... more could you imagine being the schlub who saves up their money only to reveal "jim palmer" as the name on their box... |

I have a question about the Mystery Packs. I've only opened on box of Sterling 07 and got an unexciting Ichiro white suede. Is it worth opening these packs or should I sell them?
Is a 10 box case guaranteed anything from them? Are those jumbo patches only found in those? I don't get that because wouldn't it be totally obvious if it was a giant patch rather than a base parallel? Would people even buy them then? My case will arrive Wednesday, unless the weather is killing ups, as it's being drop shipped from my state. I think I'm going to open the main boxes, check the players, and then decide about the Mystery packs. It's just that, I've always opened all the Chrome or Bowman boxtopper packs and they've been brutal. I always regret it. I'm hoping I get a case like Cubfan86! |
