Default 2008 Prime Cuts and BECKETT contraversy

http://a9.video.blip.tv/128000666147...imeCuts190.m4v

They got a couple free boxes and people are saying they "loaded". It is becoming a huge disturbance, of course.

Sure they got a couple good boxes but were they "rigged", especially compared to the exquisite boxes they busted. Maybe people are just looking for an excuse to yell at Becketteers? Who knows, you be the judge.

Those crazy people, I couldn't imagine why people would think Beckett was getting "rigged" boxes. They only pulled a 1/1 Adrian Peterson Exquisite Auto Patch. Odds around 10,000-1.

Seriously though, I'm about 90% positive that the Exquisite was rigged concidering the 06 Exquisite did so bad. They needed to produce a desire for people to buy more.

I think the Prime Cuts were legit. If the 2nd box had something better in it I might think other wise, but I'm sure there's cards alot better than the Shoeless Joe cards.

I can go both ways. As for the exquisite, theres no doubt those boxes were tampered with. BUT the reason i can go both ways with the prime cuts is because even though the main "hit" in the PC boxes were decent, but those packs inside it were garbage.

I don't think anything was rigged.

Though it does seem like a nice little plan, give us free stuff, we price your cards and boxes higher, making your revenue higher.

CONSPIRACY!

Not a chance.

I think it's easier to live with the assumption that everything in life is rigged, even this post is rigged.

Those douches talk WAAAAAAAAAAY too much. No one wants to hear anything they have to say. Just open the boxes so we can see what's no longer available to pull.

the second box had to be crap, cause beckett knew we would yell rigged if both were good hits.

I saw the video a few days ago and the first thing that popped into my head was that it was yet another setup. But after seeing some of the average boxes that have been opened, I'm beginning to second guess my original assumption. It might not be that their boxes were loaded, but more so that the whole set is loaded with great stuff. I for one can't wait for the case to show up for the group break.

Sounds like some earthshattering scheme called... get ready.... MARKETING! Oh man. Imagine, purposely making your product look desirable. Unbelieveable.

Here's my 2 cents.
1. Beckett lost all objectivity when they started to grade cards.
2. Beckett sells cards
3. Beckett gets it's advertising money from who?- card companies
4. Beckett reviews card releases.
5. Card compaines want high card prices so they can continue to sell high priced boxes
6. Beckett is the leader of price guides- doesn't matter if you don't use it- 90% of the hobby does
7. Beckett has to keep the card companies happy so they continue to advertise

You make up your own mind but with the above facts I know what I think!

It is if you can find a buyer- that's all it takes!
