Default Prospects To Invest In

Hey I was looking for some feedback on some prospects to invest in for the upcoming season. I just opened a case and have money from that case to buy some players in bulk.

I was thinking about buying the 2007 Matt Wieters Elite Autos because he is expected to start in Baltimore this year and this is his only "legit" auto rc. They are already going for $110 ish on ebay, how much higher can they go?

Matt Dominguez - He has been my sleeper for a while and his cards are extremely undervalued. He hit .300 with 20 homers last year after starting the season with mono. You can get his chrome autos for a lot less than guys like Heyward, LaPorta, Moustakas.

I was also thinking of buying a Wieters Elite, a Heyward Gold Chrome Auto and then the rest on Dominguez.

What do you guys think?

Mike

I like Freeman, Bumgarner and used to like Jeff Locke and Henry Rodriguez before their godawful seasons, but perhaps they can turn it around.

I agree with you on Dominguez. As far as other prospects, I've not really followed many in 08 other than Brandon Waring and he kinda fell apart last season, but I still have faith in him. There are quite a few in 07 I'm watching who have potential that many may consider sleepers. Like most prospectors, I don't want to give away all my sleepers, but here's a taste. Merry Christmas!

Mike Carp- While maybe not considered a sleeper, Carp should have your full attention. While not as well known as Gorkys or Chris Carter, Carp still has decent enough numbers, and potential, to be a great player.

Eric Young Jr.- He has a toolsy package and is on a fast track to the majors. His cards are very affordable, he looks like a steal right now.

Cole Gillespie - While his numbers may not look that solid, Gillespie has shown he can play and play well. A very affordable pick-up and in my opinion Gillespie could be a breakout player.

Tobi Stoner- Despite the humor in his name, Stoner can really bring it and is probably one of the better pitching investments for '07 chrome.

I followed Dominguez this season because I pulled his 07 orange refractor. At the time it was my best card since I got back into the hobby. He did drop tremendously and I wish I would've picked more up.

Seems like everyone is holding on to a lot of players instead of selling. Lots of rc's from 06-07 have dried up.

Actually, I think they had his jaw wired shut. See what happened when they took those off?!
