Mystery Cut Situation

Alright I have a Mystery Cut redemption that has been waiting to be redeemed since the first of June. Would it be better to get a replacement for this card? I've seen the redemptions and it has been very much hit or miss...Beckett has the redemption listed at $400. and the likelyhood of getting a mystery cut at this value is slim to none. I know Upper Deck uses Beckett as their guideline on exchanges...would this work in my favor?

Good luck, but from previous posts, it seems that Upper Deck won't replace these mystery cut redemptions. Most likely because they know the cards will eventually be made, versus when they are waiting on an athlete to sign, and the card may never be made. Plus, if word gets out they replaced one at $400 value, everyone and their dog would ask for a replacement, and they wouldn't have enough replacement cards to do them all.

I didn't know they weren't exchanging on Mystery Cuts. Seemed like a good plan at the moment I had this thought. Thanks for the info.

i've been pestering them about this situation too. i was tempted at trying to swap it out but i doubt that they'd let you at this point. i think they were suppose to have wave 2 out by the end of this month and then wave 3 (?) sometime in 09. who knows, maybe i'll get mine by the time the 09 legendary cuts arrive.
