i had a griffey 500 HR bat Auto that upper deck insert in like every product. I pulled it out of UD etchings. I sold it at the time for 1500....fml!

Not baseball, but probably an SGC 88 '48 Bowman George Mikan. Amazingly my dad let me borrow money to buy it for $5k, and did a quick flip for $6k back in like 2002.

I also at one time had a PSA 10 '86 Topps Steve Young rc (pop 3 back in 2002 and probably always will be). I should have held - that could easily sell for $3K-$4K now.

Heyward Super (which I still have) is up there too of course...he better be healthy, dammit.

My most valuable pull of all time was Strasburg mini out of a Allen & Ginter RETAIL pack, sold the card for 475 BIN, Also pulled a Jason Kipnis /5 Elite and a Babe Ruth Bat card out of UD Hall of Famers I think 02

Back when I was in college (and starving) I went to the local Comic Book / Baseball card shop. On the shelf was a box of (I think) 98-99 Upper Deck basketball cards. 2 packs were left so I bought them. In the second pack I see a Game Used Jordan card. It was booking at $1800 at the time. Threw it up on ebay and sold it for $1000. I was pumped!

Ate steak for a few weeks after that.

Nothing as nice as some stuff here, but I currently have 5 cards in my pc that I paid $1000 or more for and sold off 3 cards for over $1000 each. I had another card I paid over $1400 for, but a couple years later only sold for $300, both in standard auction. Also have one card that is worth $1000 roughly just because I graded it.

The most expensive card I ever sold was for $11,500

It was a Michael Jordan Hoops Starting Five parallel card #'d 3/5

I didn't own it, but I sold it for a guy and got a commission from the sale.
