I am really happy with most of the grades. Only 2 disapointments out of 15 = a major success for me

I wish the Jennings would have graded something other than authentic, and the 3 fingers Brown would have been higher than a 2. Still very happy.

Yeah but nice 5 on the Chance......i assume the jennings must be "trimmed" or something guess they will tell you that when you actually get them back. Not bad!

yeah, what exactly was so horrible about the one that graded 'authentic'? from the scan, it looked like it should have graded better than the one with the fat crease through it.

then again, what do I know, I dont have anything graded.

The Jennings is a mystery until the slabbed cards actually come in.

I will scan them and we will find out. The card had two beveled edges on it, but they all came from the same collection. I figured it would have graded out as one of my very best cards.

I bet this is it. Just going by the scans, the Jennings looks slightly less than 1/16 of an inch narrower than the others at the bottom and a bit less at the top.

Very nice....how does that effect the value of almost 100 year old cards? obviouslly the higher graded are more desireable but I'm curious as to the pre-gading value to the post gradig value? if anyone understands what I am even asking haha.

It makes huge difference on these cards, even to get a grade of 1. The reason is, it authenticates these cards that have been massively reporduced over the past 100 years due to their collectability.
