Thumbs up My first cards I sent in to PSA to be graded... Very Cool!!!

I recently joined PSA in order to send in my T-206 & T-205 tobacco cards that I have been buying over the years.

I am most excited about the better condition Frank Chance portrait (yellow background)!

Here is the first batch of 15 cards that I sent in yesterday.

Thanks! did you see that Morticai Brown card? That is the one with "Cubs" on his jersey. Very rare, and he is a HOFer!

Yep, good ole "Three Finger" Brown!

So what are you hoping these get, I really don't know my 1900s vintage stuff, but aren't PSA 2 and PSA 3 pretty darn good on this stuff??

yes, some of them will grade a 1 I am sure the bent in half Chance & Chief Bender will only grade that.

However, I expect a decent grade on the good chance, like a 5 to a 7. But who knows. This is the first time I have ever sent a tobacco card to be graded. And I have never sent anything to PSA before.

Very curious to see what you get! It must be hard to grade these vintage cards since they can very from beautiful to ripped in half.

I will try to post scans of the results when they come in.

This was my 15 free grade submition for joining the PSA club. They said it was a 7 business day turn around, so I am expecting them in about 2 weeks.

Good luck on your sub, pre-war cards are always fun to look at. I would try and keep your expectations low so you won't be disapointed when they pop.

T206's are very cool. I have been buying and selling select ones from a Cobb Green Portrait to a Keeler Portrait to a Dahlen Brooklyn to the one I have now, a Lajoie Portrait graded PSA 5.5. Good luck on your submission

Nice to see a change of pace with those and to know that I'm not the only one on here with a few T206s laying around. Any T206 that grades a PSA 4 or better is great in my opinion.

Yeah, my expectation is fairly low. Only a few of them that I have high hopes for

I am excited because of how many of these are Hall of Fame ball players

Very nice, Eric... post scans of the slabs when you get them back from PSA.

With PSA, more than BGS, I've found that the grades depend more on the mood/experience/disposition of the grader than the actual quality of the card. In the same sub, I've had 5s and 6s look significantly better than 7s and 8s.

All of the 206s in my Cubs set are PSA 2 - PSA 4. The Chance looks as good as (if not better than) any of them.

I love going through those in your bucket! That is one great collection. Your Chance red background & your 3 fingers Brown portrait are really cool.
