Default Rant: What do you do with the worst hobby Bowman box ever?

I just ripped a $90 (supporting my LCS) box of 2011 bowman...3rd from this case I've opened. They've all been crap, and this was the worst EVER!!!!!!!!!

With every pack I opened I got more and more optimistic. Then I got to a pack with only 9 cards in it, light as a feather. Nothing.

1 bryce harper regular card, terribly off center. Two blue border vets and a horribly off center pittsburgh pirate refractor. That's it. No color, no auto's, nothing.

I am miserable. This is the third time in three week I've spent $100+ at my LCS and gotten screwed.

Thanks for listening.

IMO 2011 bowman the only thing it has going for it is Harper, it has been so overly mass produced all other base is practically worthless, and refractors are rediculously hard to get, not to mention color.

-Any chance that the case yer pulling from is a Frankenstein's monster? i.e. they busted a bunch of cases and after big hits threw the remainder at the store?

If not, that does stink, hope yer luck improves.

No, these are two older gentleman who don't bust wax. They only deal in pre-70's, memorabilia, and selling wax. The only harper's I've seen in 3 boxes were off center or had markings from the cutter.

2011 just isn't the same as 2010.

Thank you, so much. I'd like to vote for mine however, since I paid $90. My refractor was Stetson Allie. The refractor and the bryce harper BP1 are so off center I'd be embarrassed to put it on ebay.

I plan on giving topps an earfull. I have a hobby box waiting for me at my PA residence for this weekend. If I don't pull something decent from that one, I'm going back to 2010 bowman chrome until October.

I realize I could have bought any harper auto by now. I'm just not that kind of collector.

I emailed all the scans & photos of the product, and get this...they want me to mail the box and wrappers back to them. What a joke.

I'm taking an extended vacation from the hobby. Back to the casino.

$90 for a box of this stuff is ridiculous. Most blue and many gold autos won't even save you at that price. Buy the single(s) you want if there are no cheaper busting options.

I learned my lesson and stuck to buying singles. Sorry to hear about your luck.

To ad insult to injury, after they forced me to mail in the box and wrappers rather than accept the photos, they sent me a letter with hand written "your missing hit was already taken care of via email". Wow thanks for the letter.

Just FYI for those missing hits. I think they sent me the letter because I put 3 bryce harpers in the box and they sent me 3 new ones. Still waiting for a replacement hit.
