Bryce Harper RC

Don't really collect baseball (stopped during the 90's) and was wondering which of Bryce Harper's card to get? Not looking to really collect him but want to get one really nice looking RC. Was thinking of getting a Bowman's best refractor. The bowman auto refractors look like it's out of my range and IMO the best looks better (actually reminds me of the old bowman's best back in the 90's)What's a good price on one? thanks.

How much are you looking to spend?

his base auto prices are dropping big time, i would wait until there is some stability. I sold one for 400 a few weeks ago, now they are selling for 300. They may end up in your price range!

2010 Bowman Chrome USA Rookie. His first and ONLY Chrome rookie. Don't be fooled by the 2011 Bowman and Bowman Chrome, since it's not and never will be a true rookie.

None of those are "true" rookies. The 2010's and 2011's are both technically inserts. Most will consider the 2011 his first-year MLB card (despite the fact that he won't appear in the majors this year), as the 2010's are Team USA cards. The 2010's are short printed and will likely be more valuable than the 2011's in the future.

If your going non-auto. I'd say a 2010 bowman chrome USA would be a pretty good one to pick up.

Maybe the 2010 Chrome is an insert, but it still has "First Bowman Chrome Card" on the front, thus it will always be considered his first official Chrome card.

OP is wanting a card that will hold value and the 2010 is the way to go. An autographed card is a different story.

So what obenheimer is saying, correct me if I'm wrong is that if you are looking for the best non-auto, its the 2010 Chrome.

I still think the best auto to have would be a 2011 Chrome Gold Ref auto.

I prefer to get his card with him in his Nat jersey. Don't really care if it's auto or not. Just looking mostly for a cool looking card. Not wanting to spend more than $700 though and of course the less the better.

Dude, you can get a 2011 Chrome on EBay for less than $20 Buy it Now. Even cheaper for his Bowman. There's your cheap, Nats jersey Harper right there. You also might want to hold out for Topps Chrome, Bowman Platinum or heck, get you a BC or Bowman and then see what else comes out later on. Lots of cheap alternatives other than his autographs.
