2010 Topps 'Curl'.... **I mean Chrome

Get your popcorn...this could potentially be good lol!

So last night, I went to walmart to get some stuff, on the way out of course-I stopped by and picked up TWO 2010 TC blasters marked down to $11-something@...

Now-I know this isn't the first time that its been brought up but I had to do it again... as I'm fed up with 'the curl' on these dang cards!

I was reminded yet again tonight just why last years chrome is the worst. Heck after breaking, the cards curled so much that they pretty much stand up on their own lol!

Sooo....All together I received= 36 base, 12 RC, 12 Ref/Xfractors etc.. ALL CURLED Big-time lol!!!

Then I pulled out what looked to be the best card in the lot - a Stephen Strasburg RC refractor (YES of course its CURLED lol!), decently-centered though - but this one has those stupid streak marks right across the entire face of the card... completely ruining what otherwise might be a very nice card!

If it ain't one thing - its another.. argghhhh!!!$@%(*&

I sure hope 2011 - Topps Chrome is NOT like this because if it is, we're not buying any!

The curl is so strong on 2010 TC that it curled a couple of the Top Loaders that I put the cards into!

Am I the only one who thought the stock of the Chrome cards in 2011 Bowman (on some not all of the cards) wasn't as "chromy" as they used to be? Wonder if Topps changed something with the way they produce chrome cards.

I've bought two of those blasters, the packs are bent as soon as you pull them out of the box

That's how a lot of the hobby was too (2010 Bowman Chrome as well), not to mention they put the cards in backwards in most of them (doubt that had anything to do with the curl though)

Seemed to me that retail blasters had a lot worse curve to them than hobby, though both still had it.

That's pretty damn bad.. When the top loaders bend, that's some SERIOUS curl LOL!

Haven't noticed that but I DID notice that there wasn't as much curl to them, which is a good sign I guess...

Some of the curles were so bad it bent the magnetic holders they were put into.

Bummer on the Stras Ref, I've been looking for one and the centering is horrible on them all.

my last box had the curl, as well as smudged non-existant autos on my 2 autos. it was a horrible break. I'm still broken up about it inside. I may never be the same. Damn you Topps! Fix your issues before 2011 Chrome please.

this isn't meant towards any specific person... but,

i hope all of last year's issues with Topps & Bowman Chrome Baseball drives the f'n newbie morons away from breaking/collecting/selling..... it's these types who are ruining the hobby more so than lack of QC by the manufacturers.
