Default Two Bowman Pineda Autos

Wow-what are the odds of picking up two (2) Bowman Pineda autos from the same small-town Virginia Wally World, within a three (3) week span?? I wonder just how many of these auto cards were produced??

honestly Im in richmond also, and I think all the good stuff was in the first run of the product......

I pulled 2 pineda auto's and harper blue /250 auto redemption, machado auto, bunch of different stuff, goldschmidt blue......

I bought pretty much every blaster in the area though.......

I purchased approx. 35-40 blasters and a bunch of rack packs

I went back after they re-stocked a bought 1 or 2 blasters didn't pull anything at all and stopped..... it definately wasn't loaded like the first stuff.

you guys know any cardshops near by?

Yeah no kidding! The only time I pulled anything decent was boxes I bought early on from ebay. I bought a couple blasters of restock from the Wal Mart over by Regency Mall last week.....only a Harper Chrome. Think I'm done!

On a side note, have you seen any Ginter in the area?

nah, I think the best places to get cards are the walmart's in short pump and the one in mechanicsville, they typically get the stuff the fastest. target is super slow with stocking.... and that walmart by regency is like a mini walmart, they ship late on almost everything.

This is the first time I am seeing this guy pitch and I don't understand the hype...

His pitches are flat and don't move.

2011 Bowman is still available. I've seen both at Walmart and Kmart.

Pineda is still a good young pitcher.. I certainly wouldn't mind having him on my staff!

I was afraid to say it, but he ran into a wall at AAA after the 100-inning mark last year too.

Now, three straight bad outings and four out of five and guess what. Before the struggles started, he touched the 100-inning mark or so.

The talent is there, absolutely no doubt about it, endurance (through a full season) appears to be the issue.

Pineda is a big dude, its natural to be tired at that stage in a long season..

This is the first I'm watching Pineda too on TBS against my Sox. I'm not impressed at all. As Boston pointed out, his fastballs have no tail or movement. Definitely not Halladay.

I pulled two Pineda autos from a case of retail...but of course that's 1 whole case of cards. You managed to do it from various packs at WalMart. Kudos. Prices on Pineda are starting to come back up. I think there were below $50 for a while, but it looks like they are creeping back up.

Nice couple bounce-back innings for Pineda

The first time I saw Pineda pitch was against the Braves. He was up 4-2 into the seventh inning and then he walked three straight batters, gave up a double and then the Braves rallied onto winning the game 6-4. Being a Braves fan I was very happy but the first six innings he pitched were well done. Seems like he just got tired and wasn't able to go any longer, yet they still kept him in. It should have been a sign after walking 3 straight with no out.

Go Braves!
