Default Mike Trout just hit his first career homer

A three run bomb to give the Angels a 6-2 lead in the eighth. Nice compact, powerful swing.

Bourjos is back in the line up today. With Vernon Wells backing him up I think Trout gets sent back down pretty soon, which isn't a bad thing IMO.

I was just talking to my mom about Trout this morning. My first thought was, maybe he can follow in the footsteps of... Tim Salmon! Buahaha!!!

Probly an old joke by now, but so what, it was new to me.

It's good for a chuckle.

Some guys dumped his cards, and had very little hope for him. He's nice the BEST PLAYER IN BASEBALL.

Kind of funny

Really? Do share your evaluation after 135 PA's. What pushed him over the top and said he was ready to you? Was it the 20 AAA games he played in 2012?

What changed? Called sample. Do you panic when an established MLB player has a rough April?

This is why some "AAAA players" exist.

Big whoop, tomorrow everyone will be beating him up because he missed batting practice & got sat for the game!

By the way, Puig had a go-ahead RBI in the dodgers game with a double & ended up scoring on that play!

Sell Trout, Buy Puig!
