More than likely the auction was shilled as the bid history is set to private which is usually a tell tale sign that the item was shilled.

I don't see whats strange? People pay big money for GU patches from 09 Ultimate. Its a nice one, and Griffey to boot.

Not with a jumbo GU patch like that one. I'm not saying I would pay that much, but it doesn't surprise me someone else did.

Certainly the UD 09 Ultimate set had some really great patches in it no doubt and plenty of logo patches as well. However, at this point I wouldn't go anywhere near those unless I saw the person pull them because at this stage there has been plenty of opportunity for forgeries with no distinction between which cards had logos or just multi color patches. I also find it very interesting that this seller lists all of their auctions as "private" so that you cannot see the identity of the bidders. Typically, I think it's best to stay away from those types of auctions as you really have no idea what is going on in terms of the bidding and there is a very high chance of shilling.

All you need to do is search sellers name.

Scumbag to the highest degree....He's even been brough up here before.

It's private so people cannot contact the high bidder to showh them what a scam it is.

What a douchestick. I hope he gets a$$ cancer

problem is with these cards they usually change hands constantly. That card was in a friends collection until he found out it was fake. The original seller refunded my buddy and then that seller must have passed it along to this clown. Thats the recent history anyways. Who knows where it was before. This guy may have faked it but he didnt sell it originally. The guy is still a scumbag though

Looks like it's number 11 to me.

Isn't the FBI trying to crack down on things like this? Would they do anything about this if they were given the appropriate information to bring this scumbag down?

Im not sure on the fbi thing but some members over there do a heck of a job tracking these forgers and do there best but nothing is affliated with the site just great members doing there part. One guy has a sick database and the proof on who these scumbags are.
