Hey everyone, I went to Wal-Mart and picked up 11 packs of Allen and Ginter and I have no clue if I have a couple of sp cards or not.
I have two minis of Lance Berkman and Jeremy Jeffress that are Bazooka Backs, but not numbered -- I checked the wrapper and it said 1:380 -- I doubt I beat the odds this much -- but was wondering if these are sp's? Also I have two Adam Laroche cards with some weird black arching on each corner. Don't know what that's all about. I did get a cool Todd Helton relic framed. I thought for a non-pack searcher I might've done well for $30. Thanks for any help you can give. |

Bazooka backs are red and have hand written numbers. Allen and Ginter backs have the quaker guy on the back, are blue, and don't have hand written numbers. You probably got A&G backs. In order of rareness, minis go Regular -> A&G ->Black Border ->No Number ->Bazooka. For the regulars, A&G, and Black Border, cards numbered #301 - #350 are SPs. In my experience you get about equal numbers of A&G backs and regular minis.
This is an A&G back: ![]() This is a bazooka back: The LaRoche cards are this year's code cards.

XL5... great explanation. It's nice to see great help instead of grief about 'look it up on the web for yourself" comments.

The one's with the symbols on the corner are the codebreaker cards. I originally heard there were 170 different ones as a parallel to the base set but was looking at sales history on Ebay last night and saw that brentandbecca sold a full set of 350 code cards so I guess they parallel the whole set.

If your asking whether or not certain colors are more rare than others, than no.
