Then guy walks in and pulled 2 from target out of 15 packs...

~ 11 base prospects per box, 143 per 13 boxes. So if the Harper base is inserted at the same ratio as all the others, and assuming independent events, there's about a 24% chance that 13 boxes will not yield a Harper base. The odds are probably a little lower than that, assuming there is some anti-correlation collating. But not super improbable.

BTW, 234 prospects of any type (Xfractors, green, etc.) in 13 boxes, so only a 10% chance of no Harpers of any type. Bad luck, but not creepy bad. With 100 prospects, it's going to be a tough base set.

None out of 1 box. But Ill tell you what suprised me. All the cards are refractor like. I think Topps hit a homerun with Platinum this year! I didnt know they were like this till today.

I am not a huge fan of this product...I thought the Ginter release was a lot more fun. Having said that, definitely some nice cards to be had!

1 6 box inner yielded a harper base and an Xfractor, the sets are going to take a lot to put together, lucky to get 1 prospect set from a full case, but I'll find out tomorrow when my full 12 box shows up tomorrow.

Topps has been making it hard to put together with all products this year. I didn't get a single master set out of my first case of A&G. And everyone on here was saying "oh yeah, like last year you'll get two per case"

I highly doubt the guy that pulled (gary) knows how to search a pack...
known him a long time.. 65 years old and just likes cards does not resell stuff

regardless... 2 harpers came out of 15 packs of retail and 0 came out of 300 hobby packs....

just weird...

As far as the product... unless you pull harper it is kind of garbage...

Just my thoughts on seeing 10-15 boxes opened...
