$2222.22! Cool but, like others have said, stupid to own IMO.

Maybe I don't understand, but how does that matter if the seller has never sold anything and the some of the people with 100% activity have other feedback. Just doesn't make sense to me.

People with low feedback shilling a friends sale I would guess.

Gonna say $2,609.00. Thanks for the contest .

I certainly wouldn't sell off most of my cards for one item though. Yeah they're cool and have a good story behind them, but the cards I'd have to sell off probably have a lot more of a story behind them, at least to me.

I would never trade away my 2007 Bowman Draft Freddie Freeman Orange Refractor Graded BGS 9.5 Gem Mint for a pair of a Philadelphia Phillies players shoes. That card alone is worth almost $750.

My guess is that it will end at $2,546

Yes that is a great card. I don't understand how people can think that an autograph on a card or a tiny piece of game used jersey with 2/3 colors can compare with this piece. Hunter Pence is the key piece for the Phillies to make a World Series run. These spikes are a piece of baseball history.

I would understand if these were just a pair of game used spikes but they are not. This Phillies team could win the World Series, could be the best Phillies team ever. This trade could be the trade people look back and say that was a huge factor in pushing the Phillies over the hump. Not to mention Hunter Pence is a great player and will only get better in this lineup. He has been tearing it up as a Phillie. I understand we are all card collectors and most of us value cards a great deal but these spikes could be a real nice piece of baseball history if the Phillies win the World Series and Hunter Pence turns out to be a huge factor in the postseason. My guess is the auction ends around 3k.

I also understand a Phillies fan might have a different opinion then a fan of other team. I would take a game used Roy Halladay Jersey, hat, or spikes over an autographed rookie card any day. Whoever wins this auction is one lucky fan.

Read the thread. The auction is legit. 0 feedback is a not an issue.
And I don't understand how people can tell if an item is involved in shilling.
The auction is for charity and I don't think hunter pence needs the money

Maybe I am stupid. Sorry in advance but what does 100% mean. I was assuming that 100% means that every item that the seller sold this person bid on it. Right?

So this person with 154 feedback places one bid and he is shilling?

I believe it means that the bidder has bid on every item the seller had listed. It is used to drive up the price. The 100% with this seller means he has only bid or delat with that seller.

I think some people here are challenged with math concepts. 1 bid= 100% no matter who the seller is, if they've placed 1 bid it's 100%. Does that mean that anyone that's only placed 1 bid in the last month was shilling what they bid on? Shilling would be having placed bids on 20 different items from the seller and driving up the price on all of them, not placing one bid on one item.

This is what I thought. Now re read you statement and apply it to a seller that never sold anything on eBay.
If the guy has 154 feedback then he has dealt with other sellers.
And if the seller has zero feedback anybody that bids would have that 100%. Right? Also I checked a few other bids and some say 66%, 33% etc.
This just doesn't make sense to me

I dont think Hunter Pence needs the money either.
but couldnt Hunter Pence do this thru the team/ at the stadium / on the Phillies website kinda thing ?

Theres no COA no way to prove those are actually "the shoes".
Seller has zero feedback, could be any schmuck with access to those pics.
Or someone who bought a pair of cleats and a can of spray paint.
AND most of the bidders have little feedback with a high percentage of bids in the LAST 30 DAYS with this seller.
Specifically this item as seller has no others.
So the seller has never sold anything + theres a bunch of bidders who rarely bid on (let alone buy) anything,
and yet there all bidding like crazy on this.

Id like to think its the real deal, but it presents poorly.
