Default Does this autograph look very strange?

Look at the 1st auto... then the 2nd Doesn't the first one look strange.. like its not on a shiny sticker? was it just the angle of the photo? or is something going on here.

The background to the auto looks very gray and unlike every other sticker auto I have seen

Auto sticker on the first one looks terrible. Can't say if it's real or not but I wouldn't touch it.

Why does it look like a completely different sticker?
Don't know why you would need to do that though, doesn't make sense...

Ask for another picture of that card. Maybe for some strange reason the lighting got weird on the picture/scan.

The dude has really good feedback though, makes no sense. That is definately not a topps certified issue sticker though and that is a fake auto. This one is really strange.

What I don't understand is why the guy from the second one states it as a DUAL jersey?? I only count one jersey piece.

i think someone took off the origional sticker and then replaced it with one not from topps/ud or made their own, not saying the seller did, he could have bought/traded for it

They're both real, the first one was an alternate sticker used by Topps after they ran out of the other stickers. I know a few people with Topps certified autograph stickers like that on their cards.

The picture looks photo shopped, and the auto on it is completely fake. I don't get where they were going with that one.

I think he means it's a dual auto/jersey. Not the normal parlance but I think that's what he means.

I can tell you this, most of you know I coached Dave in high school and I have about 100-150 of his autographs were he has signed cards and other stuff in my living room,I have also bought his autographed stuff and have never seen his auto look that bad.David Takes pride in his autograph.so I would stay away from the 1st one.

The first one is fake. The sticker should still have the Topps Certified stamped into it

This thread cracks me up...what would be the point in replacing a true autograph with a fake one??? I have seen Topps use a number of different stickers and the sig looks totally legit to me.

I really don't think there's anything wrong with it. Sig looks fine. Definitely not photoshopped (really people???). They used a different sticker. If anything, it's more rare because of the weird sticker.

If that is true then he should take his time and sign it better.

Harmon Killebrew took pride in his signature.

It would also be more rare if someone spilled coffee on it during packout. Or if they forgot to put a sticker on it at all. But "more rare" doesn't necessarily mean "worth more" or even "worth buying."

Both appear to be consistent with each other in terms of penmanship. I'd say the same person signed both. Whether it was actually David Wright or not...who knows.*

*The above is merely my opinion and does not by any means represent a certification of anything whatsoever.

He's already improved it compared to the 2002 autos:
