When you guys sell high-end redemptions on Ebay, do you scratch off the back and take a scan so you have documentation of it. I was just wondering because couldn't the buyer redeem and then say that the code didn't work? Other than the usual of delivery confirmation, just trying to protect myself as much as possible.

if the redemption is that high-end that you are worried about being scammed, it may seem extreme but you should take a video of you packaging up the card and showing the back of the redemption as un-scratched...that way if he files a claim you have a video to support your case

^^^^ Would be a waste of time for you. It would prove nothing. and whatever you do DON'T SCRATCH THE CODE. If it is truly a high end redemption insure your shipment and then if a buyer claims it was invalid tell them they must file the insurance paperwork brfore you get a refund. Then informa them about the penalties for Mail Fraud. There are bad apples everywhere. Do a BIN and only accept offers from people you are comfortable with. Do you research and protect yourself.
