Tyler Thornburgs Dad Just Bought My Thornburg Card

His dad just bought the logo patch I have. Have you guys ever had the player or his family buy a Card from you?

UPDATE 1/6/12: just got 3 autos of him in the mail. Super nice of them I was only expecting one!

No I just raised the price so nobody else will buy it cause we were working something out

I can't remember who (thought it was Henry Owens but I am not seeing anywhere saying that he was from Texas) who had a USA auto in 2010 Bowman Chrome. Someone with the same last name bought the card and I looked up his hometown and it was the same as the place on the card. Probably his parents or a sibling.

Also, Randy Oitker who had an auto in 2010 Allen & Ginter. His mom Darla bought 3 of his autographed cards from me and let me send some base cards to get auto'd as well. Nice lady.

yes have had Brett Mooneyham's family buy his usa auto cards off of me, I believe it was one of his first released autos..a black parallel from last year's PLatinum....I belive it was Sandra Mooneyham that bought them.

Also have had another retired MLB star's family buy multiple TTT relic cards off of my, but can't remember who it was

Yeah, happens more often than you think as the card companies don't provide players with cards.

I've sold to many prospects family, Saltalamaccia's dad, David Murphy himself, and in football, Brandon Stokely has bought a few items from me.

I've sold a few cards to family members. In football, I have sold a couple of his own cards to Brandon Stokley.

I sold player lots of 2011 Pro Debut to a ton of moms and dads. Also sold a Steve Garvey relic from Marquee to Keith Olbermann.

Because she sent me a message on Ebay saying that she was Hak's GF and wanted to know If I could ship them to spring training for Hak since they were both located in Korea, if I could just put DC on it and give them the Delivery confirmation so it would end up at the Complex for Hak to get once he went to ST.

I traded cards with Bob Coluccio's son. (Come on old-timers, remember him?)

And Keith Olberman has bought a bunch of cards from me includinga Joba Green Tint from Heritage, but nothing of his.

You do know that his dad was one of the better closers in the early 90s, Bruce Ruffin, right?

Also, I actually had Simon Gagne buying his own autographed cards, he liked them because they were "certified". He was actually really cool about it when I sent him a pair of POE rookie cards as a bonus he sent one back signed. The note said it wasn't certified LOL.

I wish I still had that, it went into the ocean during Katrina.

John Lamb's dad bought a few of his son's rare parallels from me, he sent me an email stating who he was and if I had any more of his cards. Back in 2004-05 I was picking up Jeriome Robertson cards for his cousin and Rico Washington's wife was buying his cards also. They would both periodically check in with me to see if I had any new cards of them.
