Haha it's a funny fact of life though, I always wonder how many cards will never be found because they were destroyed, disappeared, etc.

Odds are some certain serial numbered cards /499, /999, /99 etc no longer have full print runs available because of something like that.

This could be very true. If that particular shipment had cards on it, they could be gone for good. Something interesting to think about.

It probably was. I am sure it is either there or still sitting at someones desk at Topps.

Wasn't there some shenanigans about the Strasburg super, like they knew where and when it went out(?)

I wonder if the cards are damaged if they'll toss them, or at least let an employee open them

I know it ruins the point of this thread but aren't 99% of cards at Target delivered by distributors, not Target itself?

Just sayin, no worries, I'm sure that superfractor is in a Bowman Chrome Value Box in Piscataway, New Jersey

Yep, independent vendors stock the cards, not Target.

LOL I said the samething at work to the guys in my unit and they said Baseball cards grow up! I told them you wouldn't think like that if that was your hobby, not to mention the thousands of dollars and trades to get the cards I want! They still looked at me and said you have problems

I don't remember anything like that. But that may have been the story when Leaf bought it and put it in Rookie Retro. It probably sat at Leaf for a while before they inserted it and followed it.

Edit: Just actually looked at the article. I think the driver wanted to be an ice road trucker!

We all know where the super of Harper is,.......
2011 Bowman baseball hobby box! BRYCE HARPER 5/5 AUTOGRAPH! - YouTube

He has it, just has not created a video yet.

Yes, you all know what video I am talking about, and if you don't, as Webb Jr stated,"Take a valium BEFORE you watch it:"

I find it pretty sad we're more concerned about the value boxes than the driver himself

It's OK that harper kid is a huge tool that I spend my free time rooting against. It would be good for humanity if his superfractor is lost forever in a frozen pond.

Let me go dig up some pictures from my collection and start a thread to express my hatred for him and his mustache. Hopefully some more winners like myself will back my argument for how he is just a punk ruining baseball for us "real collectors". We are in it for the integrity of the game, unlike you sheep! Now let me get back to my natural position hot cheetoh stained hands reach down pants ready for the midday pleasure stroke to pictures of Ken Griffey Jr
