Why did you do a none of the above? If they do not vote for one fo the products just move along then. It does not make sense for a vote like this. |

You're talking about BMB members though, "just move along" is not in a lot of their vocabularies. There seems to be a splinter group of BMB members who like to jump into every thread about these products and talk about how prospecting is dumb and who would pay $1000 for a card of a guy who hasn't played in a major league game oh my god why??????

Phil, you're doing great with the Chrome products since it seems that only one since 2003 has more than doubled (05 Draft). I know 04 and 06 BC have been at/near double (unless, of course, you're a direct or get a ridiculous price!! ). But, some of the others have been startlingly(?) flat. Now, 2002 and before - different sotry! Perhaps you can share your secrets - I guess my whole point of this thread was not what is better - but that 07 Sterling looks pretty darn good and EXCITING. If you told me I could only invest in one product in any way to make money, of course I'd pick Chrome (it's too easy to make money from a flip standpoint). BUT, I am amazed with the long-term potential of the Sterling checklists beginning with 06 - seeing as how they have ALL of the BC & BCDP autos, plus several other first round draft picks and HOT prospects signing later in the year not in the Chrome products. What if Billy Rowell does hit it big? He has one "RC Auto" from Sterling. TK |

of course, with 5 cases you get a better shot at the parallels of autos and hot players. but also, selling in player lots is the way to go with BDP and the bigger the lot, the more per card you will probably get.

Solt I will take this one. The prospecting products, particularly Bowman Draft and Chrome, are all about the individual players. Some people purchase these products in sets but what the prospectors are looking for are the player lots. Everybody has picked out their can't miss and their sleepers and they are looking for them in quantity. Ten and twenty card lots are what they want. For Bowman Draft 5 cases are required to have a good shot at having 10 card lots of all the chrome prospects. It is simply about the math.

So it's basically just like Bowman Chrome then. Here is my question though (I was looking over the product info):
1) What do you do with the green bowman non chrome cards and for that matter, the green bowman chrome rookie cards? Sell the same way? I know these mostly suck, but with Chamberlain, Braun and others in there, can you sell them? 2) What about the blue non chrome cards? |

Our resident Bowman Chrome Addict (Jim) just listed 30 ct. Bowman and 20 ct. Bowman Gold lots from 2007 BDP on eBay.
Should be interesting to watch. He told me he'll probably list his Chrome lots after they end.

He did that with Bowman Chrome also and things didn't go too well. I know because I was right there with him. I sold a second series of 20 card lots and they sold better than the first series which was the second off ebay. Jim had a similar experience. I think this is one product that you can take your time on with the lots. Mine sold better after Christmas than before last year.
