I would love to see a picture of how you framed the letters as I did this for my son about 2.5 years ago. I just have them on the individual stands but they always get knocked over.

metscollector 05-01-2012 09:35 AM

that is an awesome idea!

I second this, have a son due in Sept, looking forward to putting something like this together. :)!

LincecumPC 05-01-2012 12:38 PM

definitely a fun set to put together for anyone's kid(s)! I am thinking of doing the entire alphabet as well but we will see.

Diakonos 05-01-2012 01:36 PM

dude that is RAD!

J19R 05-01-2012 06:08 PM

That's awesome - congrats on completion.

metscollector 05-01-2012 06:11 PM

ive already started a bit of a list so i can do this myself.. i have a baby coming but we arent sure yet if itll be a boy or a girl. im going to do this either way and am starting with my last name. im trying to get together a bunch of players that have some meaning to me for one reason or another but im still trying to keep the price reasonable. this is going to be fun so thanks for the idea

That's my not-yet-born son's name.

I HAVE to do this now.

Care to share about how much that ran you to put together?

I understand if you'd rather not.

LincecumPC 05-07-2012 07:04 PM

really depends on what players you want to get. I tried my best to stick to my theme of all bay area players but some letters are just harder than others.

dawger13 05-07-2012 07:46 PM

This is a really cool idea, my daughter is 5 and she is getting into cards, she believes that she is quite the collector, so far she is a Cardinals fan (she likes birds) she also likes the Brewers as we live in MKE and the Padres because that is daddys team. I wonder if I can find enough to complete her name it's a long one (Isabelle) or I can shorten it and do Izzy.
