Default 2 questions

1. Why did a case of 2011 Bowman hobby boxes jump to $900?

2. Will the release of 2012 Bowman cause 2011 BDP cases/boxes to drop in price anytime soon?

2011 Bowman went up because of Harpers call up... most of the cards went up... there are tons of harper cards in there....

From what a distributor told me... 2011 Draft is going nowhere but up... $800 per case most places... was around $650 or less back in february.

Plus there are 3 base autos in there that are $50+ along with bradley is close to $30 and jose Fernandez and Matt Barnes to follow in that range... What was the last product to even have 2 chrome autos over $50 (that weren't a SP)

becuase of darvishes fiirst auto pull, its basically pays the whole case off while you may get another 100 or 150 bucks on the other 11 boxes or even a harper which pretty close pays for half of the case scince he got called up

A new bowman does nothing to previous ones as they are known for having the best cards of each rookie/prospect class and therefore the next years guys have no affect on the previous guys. However it went up because Harper wasn't too tough of a pull and sold for 400+

I don't see any increase in his BP1 autos. Also, I opened quite a bit of that product and didn't hit any parallel cards except one auto of him. I did hit a lot of inserts/bcp/bp, however. I just don't see prices on his cards going up, so why would the case prices jump nearly $250-300? Is some other prospect tearing it up from that product?

People want the harper... especially the autos and the BP1 auto is the easiest to pull

I would think the release of 2012 bowman would cause 2011 bowman draft to drop a little bit. I mean, in terms of simple supply and demand, with a new product releasing, I am sure that people will shift their attention to bowman 2012, and stop being AS interested in 2011 bowman draft. I wouldnt expect anything dramatic, but I bet the price drops a little bit.

I will bet you they do not... will check back on this thread in a week.... currently boxes are $67.95 on sale... no cases available and right under $800 for cases on competitors.

If you want me to be completely honest, When I said "a little bit", I really meant like 10-20 bucks on a case, 2 or 3 bucks on a single hobby box.
