His name is Allen Ray Dickey but a lot of people like to call him AR for some reason hahahah

He was the only active player in MLB that had the same last name as me. I was around 11 or 12 at the time and thought it was the coolest thing ever. I watched him through the years which you should know by now was not good, but i stuck with him. I moved to the city and started working for the Mets in 2009 and what do ya know... They pick him up in 2010. I was so excited and everybody in the office was like 'what is the big deal' haha i remember telling people his story in the pantry and everybody was like 'and we picked him up, why?'

that is so great...I'm glad you are still going to collect him, and not just see dollar signs and unload the stuff...after this season he should have more cards too so your collection might just grow a lil bigger ;)

Never lettin them go. going to my kids when Im done with them. lol i nearly have every single one of his cards except for a few and they are rare as hell.. :( everyone please keep an eye out for me! lol

There's gonna be a signing at the Steiner store in the Roosevelt field mall. $30/signature and $15 for inscriptions. If you can't go but want something from your collection you can mail it to me and PayPal the 30 and I'll get it signed.

where did you get the giant topps card poster

Its not a poster. Its a four foot tall baseball card made from heavy duty cardboardish type material. It weighs about 25-30lbs. I bought it at Citi Field. I am waiting on the other one from last year as we speak
