I would say the last big 3 out there are Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, and Lou Gehrig.

Here are the ones that could possibly be Mets players:

Carlos Beltran
Darryl Strawberry
Jose Reyes
Tom Seaver

Some of these knobs don't match with current teams.

The Rickey Henderson bat knob has been listed. I wonder why some knobs are wider and seem thicker and this one for example is thinner and has ragged edges.

What are you talking about? Look at the Henderson and then at this Reggie Jackson...

The Jackson knob fits the entire circle in the middle of the card and the Henderson seems thinner with jagged edges and only fills part of the circle. I am just wondering why Topps cut some thicker and some thinner or whatever...

The hendersOn fills the circle look closely at it. It's the way the white paint is put on it. Remember bat knobs are gonna be different due to wood type, manufacturer and other factors.

[QUOTE=luck15hope;2904506]Im sorry man, but thats not white paint. That is the cardboard background that the knob is placed on. You can clearly see that is the case as many of these knobs are smaller than the frame. Unless Im wrong, why would there be white paint on all of these knobs?

The Ryan Sandberg sold today for $1055! I realize he was a popular player, but that sold for way more than many other big name HOF players....

It's going great, thanks for asking. We are in Tennessee until Saturday, after we spent last week in Myrtle Beach. I am still trying to watch the bat knobs when I can and get on here every so often.
