Don't remember specific ones but I've gotten offers in the range of 1/3 to 1/4 of what a card consistently sells for. Things like getting offered $20-$25 for cards selling for $90+

I had a BIN/BO of $1k and the first two offers were $100 and $175...

...the third was $900.

I like it better when I have no BO option, and someone still feels the need to message me a Best Offer. If I wanted to accept Best Offers, I would have put it on my listing.

I have a Delmas huge collection on Ebay. 5,000 BIN OBO. Not worth 5,000. If you pieced it out probably in the $1200-1500 range. I got an offer of $50, then he retracted it

Friend kept offer/counter offering me in 2010 on a Taillon Ref ref auto I had
Wasn't sure who it was till he told me.
.99,counter 890,recounter 1.18,recounter 889.90,recounter 1.23 and a message "Also have a partially full can on Biscuits i can add to the table"

I do not block people TBH, I just decline. Lowball on ebay doesn;t get my panties wadded up like it does some people. Way I see it,someone looks at the initial page, they see 20 offers, looks good

Come on really....you know everyone wants a card for a steal, and they will try and see if the seller is up on the prices or just a sleep at the wheel. This happens all the time and will continue to happen.

If your going to sell cards this comes with selling.

It's not difficult at all to set the auction with the "Automatically decline offers lower than ____" feature. I do it for pretty much all my listings to avoid the total morons out there.

Clearly you do not have with ebay then

I like sending messages from time to times, telling the buyer my kids are all limbless and need new feet, etc
If you can;t have fun with them, then maybe you should just have straight BIN pricing with no BO

Not a card, but I had a car that blue booked for $1200 and I was asking $700 just to get rid of it. I had 2 people ask if I would just give it to them.

I don't research the offers I receive. Autp decline is always on.

I do as a member mentioned earlier, put a price that I am comfortable selling at with a BIN or BO.

Sometimes I get pinged on the side with offers, sometimes I don't.

Either way, I sell for the price that I am comfortable at or not at all.

my buddies often put offers of $1 on things that routinely sell $100+, just to be diccks. it works every time bc usually u just get an email saying "you've received an offer" and THEN you see the amount. and THEN you see the ebay id. jerks.

by the reverse notion, i get more frustrated with people who have unusually high autodecline, rather than people who lowball.

a card sells for $22-25, its at $60 BINoBO. i offer $20, rejected. $24, rejected. $26, autodeclined on all three. these are the listings you see up for MONTHS.

1) I use ebay as a barometer of SV, and I expect to buy/sell on here at a 10% discount from ebay. 2) Please don't ever ask me for my "best price" on something. It's already been posted. MAKE. AN. OFFER. 3) Tell me if you live outside the US.

I think you misunderstood the point of this thread....

This thread is for sellers who are complaining about lowball offers on legit listings, not for db sellers soliciting lowball offers by putting thier BIN at 4-5x what the item is worth...
