I would say more. Broken up, they are worth more than $15K or so. As a full set, I am not sure as there is a premium any time you have 100% of something.

Probably way off base here, but I've been trying different page extensions on that website of about an hour and haven't gotten anything other than "You are off track. There is nothing to see here. Turn back now." Anybody else had any luck getting further into the website?

Same issue. I think it's useless to keep trying until we know more.

I also feel like nobody will be able to get far until the 11th when Hobby officially comes out, and when the codebreaker twitter starts providing clues.

Not worth it. That's not how it's done. Topps just created the site 6 days ago. It's probably not up yet and won't be until it's announced on Twitter.

Should be simple for you to know if you have them all - have you tried quickly piecing them out next to each other and seeing if it looks like you have them all based on whether or not you have a complete newspaper article?

from what I have heard, which I know sounds like a bunch of bs to most people, is that there are 25 TOTAL code cards, each with a newspaper swatch on the back.


To me, this makes perfect sense when you consider there are 25 characters to the mystery....theoretically it would make sense to have 25 "item" cards and also 25 "important places". This makes it sort of like a clue outline to me.

I have 5 code cards in front of me. Looks like there's at least 2 articles and 2/5 of my cards match so i can read the first paragraph of the article on the murder.

I can say that i have 21 characters, 8 places, and 7 items so far on my 36 in the listing, but I am selling the full set

I have 28 characters, 10 places and 7 items. (Scans and cards of only 16 of them) I had the same thought about CLUE.

Whoops I made a semi-error when I said 25 characters. If you go on twitter and look through that whole mess, you will see there are 25 twitter accounts for this mystery.

HOWEVER..

The one guy, named Dan Proots or something like that, is on a bowling team with 3 other guys, and those three guys also have access to his twitter account; therefore, there are 28 characters.


so instead of 25x25x25, it could be something like 28x25x22...or any derivative to equal out 75 total cards...which should build the front page of the newspaper that the guy is reading on the promo card.

75 seems too much sine the places & items aren't adding up
why would we have 28 characters found already on the cards but only 10 places & 7 items, that would be bad odds

you may be right. to be honest, I had talked to a guy who claimed to have over 60 of the cards, and assumed there were 75 total. however, he would not share (as he probably shouldnt lol) so who knows how much b.s. he was feeding me
