I never saw anything about a pipe burst.....

Yes, Guttman’s Gutters is fully outfitted with a security kit. Unfortunately, they burst a pipe earlier in the day causing extreme flooding, which shorted out the entire system. It doesn’t appear that the security apparatus was functional at the time of the murder, though we are of course looking into it.

It was in the tweets ... I think it's also worth noting that the building that exploded used to be a plumbing supply company.

Not important.

What is important is why Kring was there BEFORE the blast went off? Was someone trying to set him up and Lennie witnessed the person setting up the bomb that caused the explosion?

He was there because there was fire there that Max tweeted about about 30 mins or more before the explosion.

OK. Fair. But, just one Sheriff? Why not the fire department?

We have been told everything thus far and I believe it's a fair inference to make.

@MaxWCCourier: "Reports of a raging fire in a derelict building on Sunrise Ave. Please stay clear until fire officials have it under control."

I think its very possible that Kring was set up to take the explosion, rendering him useless to the police force. Assuming the killer set him up, he did so in order to kill Lennie and have a better chance of getting away with it.

The information must all be here right in front of us. Twitter was pretty dead today and there weren't any new posts on the Water Cooler. All of the info to solve this thing must already be out in the open.

I believe they were taking the day off yesterday because of the Colorado incident. That's why there were not many tweets.

Exactly.

I do think there are probably some obvious clues that none of us are seeing. I want to revisit something that I found peculiar and was already mentioned ... Price Laughton's comment on Lennie's obit:

"At a time like this, I always find it helpful to think back on the times we shared, to refresh and reload them for my memory so as to have access to them for years to come."

There is a clue in there, I just don't know exactly what it is. Words of focus are "times we shared", "refresh", "reload", "memory", "access", "years to come". It's got something to do with web browsing, , but I just don't know what it is.

It means in a few years to come back to solve it.

I'm probably stating the obvious here, but yes, I believe they are taking the weekend off after the attack in Denver. It would likely be in poor taste to really hammer home a murder mystery directly after a mass murder.

Secondly, I'm sure there are clues out there that will be helpful at some point, but this is likely just the tip of the iceburg. It's not like we're at a murder mystery party and we can wander around an investigate and cross-examine people. We're completely reliant on the twitter feed and blog, and from the looks of it, eventually a website.

As the Sheriff and Max eluded too, there will still be clues about the investigation that will be released. And if this is set up like like any other ARG (alternate reality game), then the information will spill out slowly and there will be several tasks to complete to solve the mystery.

No one has, or will have solved this in the first week or month. You can count on that. Those days are over.

What probably is likely is that there will be some tie in to cards in the set. That seems like the constant over the last 4 years.

When I mentioned the Price Laughton comments a couple of days ago, I started thinking about the connection to a web page and the only thing I could come up with is the Google+ accounts that most of them have. Maybe you have to request to be in their circle on Google+, then send them a message or something. Or maybe browse their pictures, if they have any. Otherwise, it would seem odd that they have (and use) Twitter, but their Google+ accounts seem relatively inactive.
