I am missing the Lennie Gutterman and the Gas N go card. Anyone have doubles?

I have about 60 extras I can trade if you are missing any

I'm telling you, all the info MUST already be out there. Whatever the next step is, must break the whole mystery wide open.

Deputy Young's tweet this morning:
"Thanks all for the quiet weekend in Willow Cove. It let us get quite a bit done in the Sheriff's Dept. Hope you made the most if it, too. "
To me, this is an obvious reference to how far along you should be in the code...as in, the info is out there, you just have to put it together.

This is the tweet that confirms it for me:

Tonight's the night, but who commits the crime? Keep on digging and you'll know in time. #thegintercode

That was tweeted before the murder even happened.

I believe he meant in time to be the first to win. Not before the murder.

Isn't that the point of the code? To not take the tweets at face value, but to interpret them differently under a different context?
I mean this isn't exactly a game of Guess Who? or 20 Questions.

Default Might be something, might be nothing

So I plugged the serial code from the $100 bill in Bruce Klugman's photo into wheresgeorge.com. The result was interesting to say the least...

I did the same a couple days ago. Suppose it makes sense to block it, probably have had numerous people try to enter it.

Did that days ago...I'm telling you though, you should stop making this thread a forum to discuss leads and instead discuss privately. You're giving other people leads you don't realize. Eventually someone will crack it, cause of your openness to discuss ideas on here. Just my two cents

Here are my murder mystery questions:

Who won the 2011 and 2012 Bowling Championships (what was the dispute with the 2011 championship)?
Why is Andy tweeting from Dan Proots account? (or in other words why do Lennie, Bob and Dan have their own accounts and Andy doesn't)?
What got stolen from Joey Furts?
What did Bear leave at Tom's Place?
Why did Lennie run off (via Gloria's twat)?
Why does Klugman use no capital letters other than Klugman Industries?
What "coding" skills oes Skip have?
What is Chase doing when he had a change of plans?
Why did Bear get kicked out?
Who is "the source"?

I have another page of questions that there are just not answers to.....yet.

Is the code embedded in the newspaper, tweets, blog or other. Are we being pointed to cards again or is it actually solving the murder that will be the message. I have my guesses and have been led in 18 different directions. Same as every year.

Not enough time in the day.

Dan's name is on the account of their bowling team, it says so in the profile, so Dan, Andy, Chuck and Bob can all tweet from it. Bob doesn't have his own account. Lennie doesn't belong to their team, so he has his own account for his business.

most likely Gloria, who found the body; this is nearly confirmed by the removed comment on the blog: she knows a lot but the sheriff doesn't want her to talk

Thanks. I am getting my Lennies and Lonnies and Larrys and Barrys all entangled here. I figured it was Gloria, just wanted to hear what others thought.

I still think it's weird that 4 guys all tweet from the same account.

Honestly, I think it was a reference to the events in Colorado. "Hope you made the most of a quiet weekend."

100% accurate. The quiet weekend had nothing to do with all the information being out there. And the tweets yesterday were a subtle way of saying "thanks for letting us take a break". Just like the other tweets earlier were a way of saying WillowCovePI and WillowCoveHS were fake accounts.

By all means, read as deeply into this stuff as you want, but getting frustrated 2 weeks in is only going to burn you out. I know I was burnt out last year after going at a breakneck pace on something that couldn't realistically be solved for 7 more months.

COMPLETELY AGREE!!! Sharing theories or info maybe is one thing, but if you find something like a website, keep it to yourself. Your blowing the lead some of us already had lol.

I just hope someone solves it in less than 7 months. That's wayyy too much.

The difficulty needs to be between too hard and too easy. And after reading last year's solution blog, I think ginter code 2011 was way too hard...

I guess I'm not too concerned about that. Do I want to put be the one to win this contest? Absolutely. At the same time I recognize that there are folks out there that possess sharper minds, greater resources, and more ambition than I do and are intent on achieving the same ends.

That's why I crowdsource.

In the past, Blowoutcards forum has provided hints and help for those stuck with the puzzle, and as I was one of those people last year I'm intent on providing SOME help/intuition/fresh ideas this year. Maybe I feel guilty about the extent of my lurking from last year.

And at any rate, I'm not posting ALL my secrets on here

My fault? Haha I guess so. I thought people would exercise more common sense when posting "leads" that's all. I mean, if you're trying to solve, why give your ideas away?
