another wild goose chase? Am I the only one to notice that Left Kreh's cards have a different pic for the base and the mini?? And this seems to be the only card that this occurs??

could be nothing but I thought it was weird.

If there is backslash anything on that website, rest assured is some 20 character jibberish phrase with a combination of letters, numbers, etc, so that you would have to spend your entire lifetime to find it without being directed to it. That is if it's even really associated with the code anyway.

This obviously has something to do with the willow cove card. It says lefty is a writer so has anyone checked his web page or his twitter for clues? I am no code cracker or do I really care to spend all the time racking my brain but it has to be something to do with old leftY

Also the card is #346.
346 was the address of the fire that injured the Sheriff.

From the Water Cooler:
" At 10:38pm on the night of July 14, an explosion like nothing this reporter has ever seen rocked the derelict building burning at 346 Sunrise Avenue."

I'm thinking this year's code has to do with opposites.
Which may be why the newspaper article referred to both Sunrise and Sunset.

The term "obviously" is really being used loosely these days...

The other address mentioned in the water cooler was 127 main street. This corresponds to card #127 - erick aybar. Does anyone have scans of the regular and mini to see if they are different like the Lefty Kreh card?

There were so many red herrings last year, that I'm just being cautious calling something obvious. It IS a Topps set after all

Looks like an important clue to this whole thing will be revealed this weekend:

From Twitter Ginter Code account ‏@TheGinterCode
Some are frustrated, others go through the paces. But before the weekend's out we'll be off to the races. #thegintercode

Default Lefty kreh

OK, looking at that picture, I would think Lefty Kreh is NOT the gentleman in the red.

I realize that. I noticed this over a week ago. I got scared when the card was mentioned earlier, but had hope no one would figure out that was not lefty.

So "error" cards are going to play some part in the code? Maybe it's like the domains last year, that they are cluing you into which ones to look for, and then you have to find the remaining of the 10/20/30 errors by yourself, and given some sort of clue of how to take words or letters off the cards for the domain name.
