Default Back of Trudy Givens card scan.

Hey guys! Longtime, lurker, first-time contributor Figured I'd try to add something to the conversation this year. Here's some scans, more to come when my boxes arrive!

My office is about to look like suspect board from CSI real soon; different colored strands of yarn connecting people and places and whatnot. The game is afoot!

many folks should have full sets of fronts/backs as I have now sold either actual cards or scans of all cards to 17 people
some from this board, but they may not be sharing, lol

how much added value did you get off the code cards alone?

honestly not much, the cards go way down too fast and the thing that hurts me is that I have spent last 2+ hours scanning the emailing large attachments rather than opening my dozens of cases so that puts me behind and losing $ on the cards sitting here

I enjoy it and want to help others if I can for sure as it looks fun, so I am still ahppy to do it

But yesterday I had over 80 emails for requests and questions just on the code cards so it does take up a lot of time, and time is $, right? lol

I am not too worried about how many people have the full newspaper assembled. It is going to take a TON more time to figure things out than it takes to assemble the front page. lol.

But I hope we can get a jump on some people if we get a full paper created on the day it "actually" releases!

As far as I'm concerned, I realize that you're doing those people (inc. myself) a big favor. So just know that your efforts are greatly appreciated.

And who knows, I might have enough connections to suggest inserting a "Mr Casebreaker" base cards in future Ginter sets ;-)

lol, thanks, would love to be in A&G
I have tried to play a role in each of the code breakers success each year, it does take up a lot of time, but I enjoy helping even if just getting a set of cards out or scanning cards or answering some ?s
It is fun and part of ginter that helps set it apart
I have emailed so many scans over the years, and people are willing to pay $10 or so for my time which is nice and some want the actual cards which are usually tough sets and nice as well

best of luck to everyone this year, looks like super fun

Eventually the information will be out there so maybe someone can fill the holes. Here is a mixture of the 33 scans/cards I have, some you have seen before. Some are duplicated, but hopefully we can all see the puzzle completed. I did pay for a large portion of these so if anyone wants to contribute let me know.

I have to get scans of the fronts together, but imagine the information on the front will be just as important if not more than the actual puzzle.

Sorry to see this. And essentially the same reason I am throwing all my scans up here for free.

yep, I normally do give out all info or scans I can for free even though it hurts my own cards in value
but so many want it secret
even had a guy want to pay me $50 not to share with anyone else last year, after I gave him them free

after asking topps about copyright laws I am not sending scans to anyone else, and there are dozens of ebay auctions that are selling scans - so i guess they never pursue it as it happened last year too
sure it takes time & you could say paying for service but the scans have value or they would not want that service

auction was changed by seller
he meant nothing buy it, which I understand and appreciate as I thought he was solving, but the copyright thing while maybe never pursued is something to think about on these (at least selling on eBay)

For the record, I posted the auction advertising the full newspaper (not just the scans I spent $$ obtaining, I was selling the photoshopped piece below) but once BrettandBecca informed me it was illegal to sell scans of course I took it down, no need for me to mess around with that. I'm in it for the chase, not the $$ anyway.

Here you guys go, the newspaper (sorry it's not all uniform. It's all legible though).

Good luck to all!

Are you going to post the reverse sides of the cards as well? Just wondering if I should go through the effort of scanning etc.

The whole paper isn't good enough?

I can post the 50 scans of the fronts if Brent is okay with it. The newspaper is something that I at least put effort into, but the other stuff would just be re-posting scans from Brent (which I paid for).

I think it was a fairly simple question. Either A) You are going to post the fronts of the cards or B) you are not. I will scan and post mine if you do not wish to.

Hey, kinda new to this. How long does it usually take someone to finally figure out the code?

Thanks for posting the scan of the card too!! Appreciate it!

Last one took many months (maybe 7-8?). They were stumped for a while.

I'll be posting fronts in a sec.
