all my Anthony Rizzo cards. Note that I own 0 Anthony Rizzo cards. I sold every single one that I own on Ebay so this is not some plug. I just want to go on record and say that Anthony Rizzo is going to be a super star and I sold way too early.
Why did I sell the cards then? because I'm broke! That said, I wanted to memorialize my grief so in 3 months I can bump this thread and either be relieved or sick. It's going to be one or the other .

I'm sure the Red Sox and Padres can empathize

Yea, right! The reason I even began collecting Rizzo was because I kept pulling him when I busted wax. I then looked him up and read an article about some Red Sox GM that is one of the best in the Biz [put together all the Red Sox World Series teams] and was hired by the Cubs. He gushed about Rizzo and brought him over to the Cubbies from the Sox. I took it as a sign.
And sure enough...

i only had a bgs 9.5 ref auto and 2 regular autos raw. i sold them already too. regretting it a little too. you can still get in on the rizzo train though imo. he is not crazily overpriced yet. you can pick up his non chrome stuff for fairly cheap. they have a ways up to go if he goes on a mini trout like hobby tear, which i'm not totally sold on yet. still thinking about picking up a handful though.

I'd sell all my Rizzo stuff now. There's going to be an opportunity to re-buy if you want to be in for the long-term.

I'm a Cubs fan and sold a few Rizzo cards- granted they weren't his first Bowman autographs but it was easier for me because I sold one Museum auto relic that was 25 bucks two weeks before I sold it for nearly 100. It was also easier bc it was in a Padres uniform. I've actually seen some of his cards drop a little bit. He's had a ton of hype with Cubs fans- I think he actually had more buzz the week before he was called up then now. Wait until the offseason and pick up some cards if you are in it for the long haul.

I can say I did far worse then you... In the month of march i did not think mike trout would be much with all the talk of him being demoted...so i sold all trouts I had for bare minimum... I sold a trout platinum ref auto for $20 to a member on here to just get ride of it...
