Yeah most of these that I have seen are jokes. Surely they could have spent a tenth of the budget for these on a local community college art major to do 10 times the job these others do.

If you dislike it bad enough, make sure you let the "artist" know!

See, this is how all the cards should have looked:

LOU GEHRIG 2012 LEAF BEST OF BASEBALL SKETCH CARD 1/1 YANKEES SIGN BY JAY PANGAN | eBay

Why couldn't you get this one guy to do them all? Or maybe the guy who did the Ruth/ Gehrig one (might be the same guy, not sure). Just a piss poor effort.

I agree. Jay Pangan did some awesome work. I have a Mike Schmidt he did, lots of detail. You can see the pride he takes in his art.

Yeah, I got a Jay Pangan color sketch of Jackie Robinson. Absolutely beautiful. The majority of these look like a high school art class shelled them out a couple weeks before release.

I didn't know Qwasian's (Sorry, Q's?) name was Tempy Moore... heard a woman call him "Limpy Moore" one time... but, I digress.

Seriously, incredibly detailed sketches... but somehow still look nothing like the subjects. I can't seem to figure it out, because some artists have all the technique, no "it" factor.

Someone pulled a Ruth/Gehrig on the Box Breaks Board a few days ago that was amazing. The Ryne Sandberg shown, the fact that Brian Gray allowed that in this product as a hit is an absolute disgrace. He's on these boards, can someone get him on the line...

You think Tempy will make a fake account here like she did over at FCB? She took more time to sign up and post fake responses than she did on her "sketches"

Well if it's true that Gray is a member here, you should pm him that sketch. I'd back you up all day long. Just do a side by side of the Sandberg and your card. You'll win all day!

I just checked eBay for some of the sketches and Jay Pangan is amazing. You can just scroll through the cards and see which ones are his. Wow....

My personal favorite not of Pangan is this great sketch of David Letterman when he was younger :

I also searched Jay Pangan's stuff and it's incredible.

Found a Puckett done by Tempy and looks like crap.

I mainly collect non-sports sketch cards, but THIS is what an amazing black and white sketch looks like. Commission I had done by Sean Pence.

That right there is a great B&W sketch. I've always been a fan of sketch cards but never buy them. I might have to switch it up and start collecting them.

Scareface - Your sketches are a hell of a lot better than Tempy Moore's!

If he (or she) can draw something like this:

No excuse for those Leaf cards. I don't get it.
