Default Need your Help BO members! Harper card LOST!

Guys I need your help.

I sold the following card via ebay:
2012 Topps Finest Bryce Harper Auto Relic Orange 89/99

For some odd reason buyer never got the card and the DC says it was delivered to TX. Buyer lives no where near TX.

Buyer was refunded his money, so he is fustrated he disnt get the card and I am pissed because i just lost money + a nice Harper card :-(

I am always looking on the bay for it, just incase it shows up for sale.

If you guys can keep an eye out and let me know if you spot it I would be very appreciative.

We have messages confirming the lost card, post office emails asking for investigation and the ebay transaction as proof the card was mine and was intended to be his upon sale, so if anyone else has this card I will use legal action if need be to get it back because it does not belong to them.

Thx for reading

Continue to badger USPS for a thorough investigation.

I'm assuming it was a higher dollar card. You should have sent it with signature confirmation if not insured. It's worth the extra $5 every time. I don't know much about ship/cover insurance, but I've been using that with signauture confirmation to be safe over $100.

didn't you have insurance on it? if it was delivered to the wrong place file a claim with the post office and get your money back.

The po can tell what carrier scanned it. So should be able to find out there. Unless the DC got stuck to a diff parcel that went to TX. Didn't u insure it?

I've had cards (more than once now) that have been mis delivered. One was a 2010 topps finest red refractor that some how went to North Dakota before it was re-routed to me. I've also had one recently that was mis-delivered to St. Paul when I live in Minneapolis. I'd ask the buyer to keep a look out for it and hopefully they will resend the payment if it shows up.

always always always send sig confirmation over $250, I always insure anything over $100.

I always send anything over $500 next day as well as video the entire process of sealing it up in the envelope at the post office counter as the postal worker stamps it.

I had one buyer claim they didn't get something once and said I had a video of me shipping it out and would gladly provide to the postal inspector and reminded them that postal fraud is a felony, amazing how quickly they dropped the matter.

Not like you need more I told you so's, but yeah.

DC on everything, event a $.99 card.
Insurance on anything up to $100 is like $2 extra, well worth it.
I think PP requires anything over $250 to be sent with signature required to ensure complete coverage.

Be smart with your cards, as you want to limit what can go wrong when trusting a package to get across several states with no escape hatch.

1) I use ebay as a barometer of SV, and I expect to buy/sell on here at a 10% discount from ebay. 2) Please don't ever ask me for my "best price" on something. It's already been posted. MAKE. AN. OFFER. 3) Tell me if you live outside the US.

If possible you should attach an image of the card to this thread.

2012 Finest Bryce Harper Orange Refractor Jersey Auto RC #/99 | eBay

Might be hard to find when sellers do not disclose the numbering.

I have sent a message to all on ebay selling this same card without putting a number on it. I will keep doing so and crossing fingers.

I have plenty of valid proof that it is mine and has been lost/stolen.... I would hope that Ebay can assit me in getting it back or hope for the best at the very least.... Yes I am aware that this is prob a lost case and even if I do find it that the seller may just be a dick and not give it back to me... But I gotta try, would be worse if I just sat here did nothing and accepted it.

ITSCARDS - THANK YOU!!
