NEED HELP FINDING 2011 topps chrome card

Earlier in the year i pulled a redemption card that was for 2011 topps chrome USA collegiate set red refractor autos. I ended up selling the card for 400$(should of listed it as bidding...) and turned a nice profit. But i would like to see what these cards look like. If anyone has a picture of one of the cards or knows where i can find one please tell me!

Honestly? If I remember correctly a Tyler Naquin red ref auto went for 175 alone. I dont know how many you would have got from the redemption (Im thinking 5? Someone help me out here), but you probably would have ended up making a bit more had you redeemed.

Hindsight is 20/20, who cares. You made a decision, and you were happy with it. Welcome the forums by the way, I see that you only have a couple posts!

I bought 4 or 5 of the Red Auto redemptions. Pulled 3 of the 5 Appels. All of my pics are gone since the cards are as well. I sold my Reds as low as $40 and as high as $500. Opening a pack of all Red Ref autos, of Gold or heck any of those.....LOVED IT!! Would love to do that again.

You get six cards, because I remember there being a big uproar because the original redemption card said a set when in fact you actually only got six. People were paying BIG bucks for the "set", only to find out it was only six of the set.

Looking at your fb (easier than sifting thru mine) I did buy from you! Based on the time frame, I think yours was the last Red Redemption I bought. I remember 3 of the cards. I assume you want to know? Well...OC Murphy, OC Wacha or Johnson and Appel. The Appel would not grade higher than a 9. And that's the reason it has yet to be graded, based on the BGS pop report at least.


izybone- You got 5 or 6 for the autos. 22 card set. In all my packs only about 6-10packs had 6 cards. The rest were 5.

Odd. I hit a gold and guess I got lucky to get six cards then. I just opened them, saw there was no Appel and put them aside. I also remember being angry the way Topps packaged and sent them.

Should have been foil pack sandwiched in cardboard/vinyl type material in bubble mailer. For Gold and up they used DC. Were yours damaged? Although doubt they will do much now as the redemptions have expired. Makes me wonder what they will do with the extras. I know one collector who complained about his redemption collation...they sent him many free cards...
