Aside from Cueto, Latos (who doesnt have a chance) has been dominant as of late also. Another 8 IP today and 2 ER. Guy has gotten no run support and pen has blown some leads. Today it was poor fielding that cost him another W

This is true, but Latos was so awful at the beginning of the year that people like me, gave up on him. I dropped him in fantasy baseball in week 2. Good thing I have Hamels and Cueto

Cueto ought to be close to lockin up the CY award for the NL. Johnny is first in wins & ERA although he is somewhat lacking on SOs I do believe he is the #1 candidate thus far.

YES! Very happy to see this get bumped again...oh wait, it's still Cueto's to lose.

Far more interesting, IMO, is going to be the AL Cy Young.

Yeah but if it ends up that close, I think Cueto will get the nod over Dickey due to the Reds' success this season.

I just don't understand how everyone else on Dickey's or Cueto's team can affect if they get the Cy Young or not. Just because the rest of the Mets are playing subpar means that Dickey can't win? Cy Young goes to one player, not one team.

Reds homer here, so opinion is flawed--

cueto for cy young (and no all star appearance) and frazier for NL ROY?

been a reds fan for over 40 years and cant recall a cy young---Tom Seaver? Jose Rio?

How is GIO GONZALEZ not being mentioned here? Guy is hands down best pitcher in the league right now on a 1st place team. Dickey and Cueto have never done anything in their careers, this is Gio's 3rd consecutive 15+ win season... He should be at the top of the list.

He's having a great year no doubt, but what does what they did in their careers have anything to do with the Cy young award this year?
