If they were better condition I'd say in the $600/ea range.

I got lucky, both Griffeys I've got so far are in great shape. Not really any chipping.

it's a tough condition sensitive set, so i can imagine they will still fetch a pretty penny given how tough those PMGs are to find.

beggars can't be choosers

I'm surprised they don't sell for more as a whole considering you never see many pop up.

Got in today..

Those silver embossed look way better than the Golds IMO. Love that set. I have entertained the idea of doing the set.

i agree that the silver embossed refractors really pop, but the gold ones have the deckle / die-cut edge!

looks good enough for a BGS gem mint label!

also pretty remarkable to think what's still hidden in all that wax out there...

Thinking about snapping up some '98 & '99 Metal Universe to see what I can pull.

anyone have a full house of these guys? 5 cards in total:

1) Mirror version (only mirrored on the front of the card, back is just glossy) - STATED PRINT RUN of 25
2) Gold version with foil front - 1:199 ODDS
3) Gold version with foil back - 1:199 ODDS
4) Red version with foil front - 1:71 ODDS
5) Red version with foil back - 1:71 ODDS

For my Mike Piazza collection I am missing just version #3 above. For my Pedro Martinez collection I haven't found version #2 or #3.
