I look back at Starlin Castro - who had 130+ hits and batted .300 at age 20, then led the NL in hits at age 21 - and he doesn't have 1/5 the media that Harper does or did coming up to the bigs.

Castro hits like a girl and doesn't take walks - basically he will never be a premium hitter (like Jeter), or even 'just' a power hitter (which is what the ladies and collectors like).

Coming from one of baseball's biggest phenomenon in recent memory who puts a clinic on in center field day in and day out...if I was the kid who made that catch...! Damn, that would pretty much make my entire pre-adult sports life LOL

Does it? The Mets play like crap every year. They break their fans hearts almost daily while that other NY team wins and brings in fans. Mets are horrible and until they decide to pick up some bats, they will continue to lose. The Mets are a curse and get lucky every 15 or so years.

The only reason I went to the game was that the tickets were given to me for free and were box seats. Otherwise it is not worth the 20.00 parking and hassle of NYC and all that it brings.
